3 Elements That Make Your Business Successful on Google

--

These 3 Elements will put your content head and shoulders above the rest, get you ranked higher and give Google reason to make you show up at the top above your competitors.

These tips are a combination of the traditional and the latest optimization techniques for writing effective content.

Imagine writing content so good that your audience begs for more and willingly buy whatever you put in front of them. And what if you created the content that makes it almost impossible for people to click the next tab to get back to work but instead, subscribe to your email list, not once, but twice with two different emails.

Well, I’m not going to give you copy secrets of the $100,000,000 million dollar copywriters whom I follow and study because that’s too expensive to give away. But, I will share with you the simpler version to help you create copy that is optimized, relevant and readable.

Sound fair? Great! Let’s get started.

I’ve shared these guidelines that will help you characterize your content strategy and identify your audience effectively.

Keyword research

Let’s start with the basics because this is still a vital step for any blog, article, or synopsis for writing relevant and optimized content.

There are some who may think it is no longer as useful as before (circa 2018) to use keyword research. These believers are debilitating their online presence, so don’t listen to them.

Don’t ditch keyword targeting completely because keywords help you start writing effective content. So, for your content to be effective do the research.

Write for the Google Bots

The way to create more on page optimization and relevancy for the Google bots is to create optimized content. Which means focus on your topic rather than on the keywords.

When writing, you want to combine keywords with relevance to get to the top of the page so that you’re ahead of your competitors.

According to a statistic from Neil Patel, 66% of the total clicks landed on the top 3 positions on Google.

So, If you are aiming to be in the top 3 spots, then you must learn how to research your best keywords.

It goes without saying to focus on your target audience. I know it sounds like a bizarre trick that keeps people helplessly engaged, but writing useful content, is the only way to increase your rank these days. Gone are the good ‘ol days of plagiarism. Darnit!

Obviously, the ethical and 100% legal way to get people to read your content is to get it in front of them every day, all day. Because just like you, they’re busy, and they forget.

Cheap copy isn’t like Cheap Trick. You don’t want to publish a bunch of content that’s keyword stuffed like a bad sausage roll.

Focus on your target audience

Google wants you to focus on your target audience, lead them down your narrative, so they know you know them very well. I’m referring to a post that is relevant and useful and most of all, it’s high-quality so they not only read every last bit…but, they devour your offer.

Make them hungry and then feed them at the end.

If you get some average Joe writing for you, you cheapen your content and just because the cost to hire a below average writer is affordable, you’re just wasting money.

You might as well not publish anything at all, it makes no sense to have garbage posts on your site. Nobody wants to eat garbage.

Be your customer

The most important part of your content is to position yourself in their situation.

When you put yourself where your customers are and offer them what you want to have, in the way you would prefer to read it, you create a relationship and build a following that is so potentially loyal and evangelical you’d think you took them to church with your offer.

Google and other search engines will serve as your second targets, so you’ll want to write for them too, and make them want to come back and crawl your site for more relevant and unique content.

Make your content powerful so that it drives engagement.

Effectively producing valuable content with an offer that will change their lives will make your target audience love coming back for more and will ensure they will stick around and tell their friends to do the same.

The number of top blogs that generate fresh content is growing each day if you want to create residual income that come through passive traffic that finds your emotionally intriguing blog you’ll need to have a funnel that converts. And the only way you can do that is with an emotionally enticing message that is so psychologically thrilling they can’t help but put their name and email into your CRM.

3 Elements you Must Have in Your Content

#1 — optimizing keywords

#2 — high quality backlinks

#3 — Evergreen ideas

These are for the sole purpose to drive organic traffic.

First, in order to optimize your keywords, you’ve got to determine which keywords your competitors are ranking for — back to the research I mentioned at the top of the article.

To help you find your competitor keywords you can use multiple tools like SEMRush, Google Keyword Planner, Moz, and many others. This article does not recommend a particular Saas, what I do recommend is learning how to write copy.

Yes, use target your competitor’s keywords you find in their high ranking articles so you’ll have that slot-pull-winning punch in your copy. When using your competitor’s blog post’s keywords to create unique and bonafide addictive copy on your blog you’ll outrank them in no time.

I hate to write

Best thing to do if you don’t like writing is to find an excellent copywriter and pay them well to write for you. When you find an excellent copywriter, pay them well, and keep them because they’ll be the reason your customers come to your site and stay on it and Google will reward you for this brainiac move on your part.

New SEO vs. Old SEO

A lot of people still think SEO is like it was 15 years ago. In the past it was a magic number of 500 words, with a magic amount of keywords both long and short, averaging about 15 and voila you’d get ranked higher in the search engines.

That all changed in 2018 and continues to change — daily.

We’re in 2022, but most businesses have optimized for 2014

Today the top-ranked searches have an average of 2,416 words, so make your content long, interesting so that you give them a reason to buy from you.

Don’t get punished by Google and other News Sites

Growing your engagement levels doesn’t mean you need to stuff keywords. Don’t be a Spamela Anderson. Google penalizes you when your content is thin and has too many links in it. Check the publishing requirements of each of the distributors for more information on their exact rules.

Sometimes these sites don’t want to see a link in your content, they want you to write so that your content keeps your customer on the page without clicking to your site.

That’s the goal, to keep people on the site so they don’t bounce. So if your content creates a lower bounce rate, you’re going to have a better rank.

The difference between thin content and short content

Keep in mind there is a big difference between thin content and short content.

Thin content is full of keywords, taken from other websites and low in quality, something you’d get from a low paid low grade copywriter.

The #1 Thing That Creates Addiction To Your Brand

Short content is concise and unique and offers great value to readers which Google, Newsbreak, and other publishing sites love. That’s why having a well written press-release is so important to creating interest in your brand because it drives the traffic from the press release to your exact link that continues the conversation.

This is a very powerful trick that big businesses use that creates prestige and potentially drives droves of dedicated disciples to your direct sales letter to download, drop by or decide to buy.

Press releases are business saving devices that only the best in the business are using to create addictive brand awareness that grows their social media followers, brings down their ad costs, and builds their email lists by the thousands while they engage with your content day in and day out.

A press release will put your brand and your business in front of 50Million ++ people daily. What would 50Million++ potential clients seeing your offer, potentially coming to your site and buying from you do for your brand and business?
